Ganeti is virtual server management software built
on top of Xen, KVM, and other open source
software. It has been designed to facilitate cluster management of virtual servers and to provide fast and simple recovery after physical failures using commodity hardware.Changes: Small improvements were made in the balancing algorithm metrics, which help with evacuation of instances from offline nodes in small clusters. The priority for fixing cluster problems versus balancing the cluster was increased. The LUXI and RAPI backends were changed to treat drained nodes as offline, and some more problems in the LUXI backend were fixed.

LRZIP is a compression program that can achieve very high compression ratios and speed when used with large files. It uses the combined compression algorithms of zpaq and lzma for maximum compression, lzo for maximum speed, and the long range redundancy reduction of rzip. It is designed to scale with increases with RAM size, improving compression further. A choice of either size or speed optimizations allows for either better compression than even lzma can provide, or better speed than gzip, but with bzip2 sized compression levels.Changes:</strong An lrztar wrapper was added for compressing and decompressing whole directories. An -i option was added to provide information about a compressed file. A "nan" showing as Compression speed on very small files was fixed. Building of the old bz library was fixed. The program now avoids overwriting the output file if the input doesn't exist. A signal handler was implemented for deleting temporary files.

Cherokee is a very fast, flexible and easy to configure Web server. It supports widespread technologies including FastCGI, SCGI, uWSGI, PHP, CGI, SSI, TLS and SSL encrypted connections, virtual hosts, authentication, on the fly encoding, load balancing, Apache compatible log files, database balancing, reverse HTTP proxy, traffic shaping, video streaming, and much more. A user friendly interface called cherokee-admin is provided for no-hassle configuration of the server. It allows you to configure the server from top to bottom without editing a text configuration file.Changes: This release fixes three issues. First, the directory listing was not encoding some filenames in the right way. Second, the "make test" did not work if executed from a release tarball. And finally, a regression regarding virtual server management was fixed in cherokee-admin. Upgrading is encouraged.
